Bring sandals to Sandblast in Duvall

The sun is finally out! And so is Sandblast at McCormick Park in Duvall. A team of sand sculptors is building a train out of sand and kids are wading in the Snoqualmie River, while music plays in the background. A line of brave kids are swinging on a rope swing, making it feel like a day at the swimmin’ hole. I just can’t get over how pretty it is!

The Sandblast goes for the whole weekend, with music, booths, food, and of course, sand.   If you go, wear sandals and shorts or even swim suits, and bring shovels and buckets.  And don’t try jumping from the rope swing into the water- I’ve seen too many cringe-inducing faceplants!
