Downtown Tree Lighting
When: Saturday, December 7, 2010, 4-8pm, (Lighting ceremony at 7pm)
Where: Downtown Kirkland
Join residents at the annual Kirkland Tree Lighting ceremony. Hear festive music, enjoy the decorations, and witness the lighting of Kirkland’s beautiful 30-foot tree. The festivities will begin in the early evening followed by the tree lighting ceremony. Tree lighting at 6:00 p.m.
Santa Story Time
When: December 8, 2-4pm
Where: Parkplace Books, 348 Parkplace Center, Kirkland, WA 98033
Santa will read holiday favorites and sign books. Refreshments provided.
Storytime to benefit First Book-Seattle, a non-profit, that gives books to children who need them most in King County. Donations gladly accepted. 1 book for a child=$2.50, 6 books=$15. Give the Gift of Reading through First Book
Christmas Ships Festival
When: Sunday, December 15, 4:00 pm
Where: Carillon Point Plaza, Kirkland
Watch the awe-inspiring Christmas Ships! Mark your calendar for Sunday, December 15th from 4pm-6pm to experience this Northwest tradition your family won’t want to miss! Bundle up as we gather along the shoreline to view the sparkling ships. With our favorite Christmas tunes in the air, enjoy horse drawn carriage rides, roast and toast s’mores, kids’ activities and refreshments.

craft, and enjoy beverages and goodies. Dress up in your finest clothes
