Snowflake Lane happens every night, but Santa only arrives once to kick it all off.  Join us Friday, November 29 at 7:00 pm for the Santa Arrival Parade and Snowflake Lane.  The parade route starts on NE 8th at the Bellevue Place and Lincoln Square skybridge and winds down Bellevue Way past Macy’s then back to the Hyatt.

New!  Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa at Bellevue Place.  Following the Santa Arrival parade and opening night of Snowflake Lane on Friday, November 29th,  Santa will light the 30ft holiday tree at the Bellevue Place Wintergarden.  Plus, take your picture with Snowflake Lane characters, enjoy holiday music and snack on cookies and cocoa.  This event is sure to put you and your family in the holiday spirit.

*A great place for families to view the parade would be a spot on NE 8th.

Santa Claus Fire Truck Tour of Newport Hills

Each year on the Saturday and at least a week before Christmas the Newport Hills Community Club sponsors a tour of Newport Hills by Santa Claus.

Along the way Santa hands out candy canes and oranges to all the children who greet him when Santa comes by on his sleigh. Santa will also be accepting non perishable food for the local food bank at the NH Community Church.

Santa’s tour starts at 9am the corner of Newcastle Way and the pipeline in the Delmar Woods section of Newport Hills. His tour will end at Newport Hills Shopping Center approximately 12:45pm. He will then be accepting visitors at the old Hallmark retail space for free photo opportunities – just bring your camera and tell Santa what you wish for!!

Now he faces a dilemma…should he switch his services from the rich grocer to the poor Poet and live a less comfortable life? .
